glenn, as i'm sure you are well aware, margin magnifies the personal financial impact of a market decline. and potentially results in margin calls that can really screw things up. mark advocates selling, even at this point. i'm not taking that approach, but neither am i risking borrowed money on which i'd be paying interest to lose money on highly speculative stocks that are clearly in an out-of-favor sector in a horrible bear market. good luck. rob

ps. i think we get a very skewed picture of the market and investing on these threads. because almost all of us are more speculative than the average investor (that's why we spend the time it takes to read and post here), we inadvertently encourage each other to take risks that may not be in our best interests. (that is but one of my qualms with bill. but you know my position on that one and i know yours, i will try to drop it for now.) i guess my point is that bullish posts right now do a disservice to others.
