<<Tell me, what was the defining moment?>> A tribute to Bambs.

<<I would recommend that people take the time to read about the South Sea bubble. About past currency crises. It truly remarkable how a whole nation can believe something and feel completely sure one day and then think something completely different another. The erosion of a public's bull market perspective takes time. That's why market crashes take years to complete. People seem to have a hard time realizing and admitting that they are wrong.>> Message 14442450

<<NT, JDSU, JNPR, CSCO are next. It will take a little time but slowly the public will start to look at tech in a new way. P/E's will have to come down. Another major fact that will hurt the bull market is the pooling accounting change next year. The mergers will be fewer and the hype will fade away. Gains from investments will be dramtically less. The padding of earnings from gains from investments.>> Message 14437316

That's my opinion. I can't help it. I'm just being honest. When I came to the thread I as attacked for saying that I thought csco was a better long then a short at $70. I said I thought it will go down to $35-45 this year and be dead money for a couple of more years. I also said the Nasdaq would go to 2500. This year. >> Message 14551430

Tom. It's not just about market share. The problem for csco is that they will have to continue to lower their margins to keep market share. The end result will be that this stock is truly dead money.

My proceeds are equal to many years of annual income for most folks. Had I held on, I would have lost 75% of my money in the following six months. Its too bad that so many people chose to mock or ignore Bambs. I certainly profited handsomely by taking Bambs seriously.
