Hi Pat,

What is your take on Ravi Suria's article in TheStreet.com, predicting a bleak picture for the telecom industry for 2 - 3 years ? I can't understand our collective blindness (CEOs, RHK and other research groups, industry analysts, LightReading commentators, etc. included) pertaining to the capital structure of service providers.

I understand that a few optical companies in the metro area will flourish short-term. What would be the best plays in this sector ?

Pat, as much as I respect your opinion, I think you are in denial. You can say a company's problem is its own once or twice, but when all telecom equipment vendors are weak, you have to admit this is a sector-wise issue.
