Cisco will never go below $10. I bet $12-13 will be their bottom.

ROFLMAO. How's that purchase at 16 you made? Just not happy with bonds, huh - well your greed will get the best of you.

Yes I tend to agree with you. If Cisco warns we will get down close to the $12-10 area and then it really becomes a screaming buy. JC has had enough time to make conservative projections on their business model and throttle back the company to position for the next phase of the current economy. The bears will be yelling doom and gloom the most when things are darkest but that's when I've made my best long term plays in the past.

Back in the 80's I bought some stocks Barrons just wanted to kill, some semiconductors and other tech stocks and I made a lot with them!

If Cisco didn't have a lot of cash and assets to play with it would be a different story but their market dominance across so many areas is not going to disappear but only get stronger coming out of this tech recession.

I want to buy when things are totally depressing. When I look at all the tech areas I still come back to Cisco. Not to mention a few other tech leaders!

Eric

Last year it was "Cisco will never go below 50. Then it was "Cisco will never go below 40." This year it is "Cisco will never go below 30." Then it was Cisco will never go below 20." Now I am hearing "Cisco will never go below 10." Soon it will be "Cisco will never go below 6.
