Greenspan should have foreseen the impact of the tech slowdown in the 4th qtr and vigorously lower rates....looking at the consumer to revive the economy is semi-productive.If technology improves ineffeciencies and lowers inflation then why not boost it when it secularly weakens.Unless the pundits,CNBC,WSJ.....have mislead us into believing that technology is to be the driving force in the new millenium.....looks like housing and petroleum are the driving forces!

No Working Application Yet?

NHP,
Then am I correct when I say that as of today, there is not one actual working application that uses the security feature of a SDMC. So as of today there is no reason to buy an expensive SDMC card instead of a less expensive MMC card.

Is this like buying a HDTV 10 years ago, so it could gather dust while the owner waited for broadcasts in HDTV so he could use it 10 years later?

In the meantime what does SNDK do with all the buildup of inventory of SDMC's while we wait and wait and wait for promises promises promises?

And yes, PALM has a slot for the SDMC. And when the CEO of PALM was asked what was SDMC used for, he responded with a bewildered look and said, "Well it will be the next standard". For what we don't know.

Hey, how many out there are watching the next standard HDTV? Don't all speak at once. Remember what happened to Zenith? First kid on the block for HDTV. Where are they now?
