Petz,

Last time I ordered, there was tax for New York. But the shipping was free.

DDR SDRAM 3-Way Shootout

Crucial
Unfortunately, we were only able to get Crucial's PC-1600 DDR in for testing, as their PC-2100 is out of stock. We were a bit puzzled when Crucial pulled PC-2100 off their website a few weeks back, considering how hard they were pushing for it's acceptance. Upon contacting Crucial, it appears that they're simply out of stock, as they weren't expecting the huge demand consumers had for the memory sticks. A reasonable answer, but it has been around three weeks since they were pulled and still are off the site, with no word on when the sticks will be back.

.....

Well, if you read the article at all, it should be pretty clear what our favorite DDR is... Crucial of course! The stuff flat out is incredible. Not only is their PC-1600 DDR able to run at PC-2100 at the highest settings, but was able to run at 300 MHz at the highest settings as well. At 300 MHz, the system is able to pump 2.4 GB/s of data through the memory pipe, which is the same speed of a Pentium 4 with PC-600 RDRAM (PC-800 RDRAM is 3.2GB/s).
