And for all the sudden Dem clamoring for fiscal stimulus (but only as a way to defeat real tax rate cuts) it is instructive to remember that Clinton vetoed the GOP tax cut last year.

So whatever Greenspan has done with interest rates to wreck the high tech economy, Clinton magnified the same by ensuring destructive fiscal drag during the present downturn that he left President Bush.

Under Clinton, the U.S. military became significantly weaker. The Chicoms and other rogue potential enemies became significantly stronger.

Does the US now face any credible threat to its security?

No. Don't sweat, the sky is not falling.
