Off course I remember you! ggg And I still own plenty of Dell! I never left the stock because I have no where else to put the money! I wait for the rebound! Just a thought, do your remember CPQ, Dell and IBM were the first stocks to began the slid a year and half ago and they were blaming bad management, strong dollar, weak Euro and Asia for their blues! Well maybe these stocks lead us to the Bear, and warned of the slow down, but we were too blind to see the writing on the Wall! I have stopped watching the CNBC. I am in this market for many years, and I thought I have seen it all, never seen anything like this! No where to hide, and I own both new and old economy! I own SGP, Pfe, Mrk, Ko, GE, etc. but they have been bloodied just as well! I am sick of bad news. I had a small debt and I sold bonds and paid it off! So, I have no debt, and I stopped day trading! I keep my stocks and wait for this blood-bath to come to and end, sooner or later! Once this is behind us and we have recovered, I will have to change a few things! I will reudce the bonds-stocks ratio to 15 - 85! US economy is still the engine for the world growth! All the Europe's stock market put together count for little comparing to the US equity market! today we here that Consumer Sentiment rose in March and Consumer Spending up solidly in February. So why the market is going no-where? Simply because there is a PR problem as you put it! It is the question of earning! Feds have been doing what they can and we can't blame them if they didn't cut 75 point instead of 50! They may cut another 25 in April and that could help this market! Lower rates will be felt in the second half of the year, and off we go! Here in Europe ECB may cut the rates in early April by 1/4 of %. With Japan, US, and Europe cutting rates, I hope we will see some improvement sooner than later!
