Master, I'm going to keep my mouth shut in regard to Greenspan, as arguing about him is a no win situation, kind of like the long running arguments I see between Bush and Clinton loyalists on the Intel thread.

Best regards,
John

This is not greenspan's doing. The market was very highly valued. Expectations for earings were sky high. Now earnings are down. And not just for the specualtive stocks. SUNW, IBM, MSFT, HD all with lower earnings. What does greenspan have to do with the fact that people are not upgrading PC's as often? I have a 5 year old p100 that does just fine. What does greenspan have to do with the fact the dot coms, with nothing to sell and no earnings, are not buying servers and software?

The economy was built on unrealistic goals and now there is a glut of product and dirth of buyers. Hence a falling stock market.
