Okey dokey. I've only had it for a few months. We had the old heater 16 years,and GOK how many years it was here B4 that. The water is either from a spring or chlorinated creek water; I think we had it analyzed 'way back, but I don't know anymore. Acid sounds like a good bet to clean out all the pipes, but it has to be done with care so you don't burn thru them.
