Greenspan is a dinosaur.

You've got one technician running an assembly line of a couple dozen robots at GM. Before automation it use to take 50 workers to do the work of that one technician. The efficiencies of technological innovations have had a great impact in our economy. Unfortunately, the Green man fails to see that.

Much amusement here. A year ago--yes! one year ago!!!!--almost everyone in this and so many other threads were chanting the mantra: "Greenspan doesn't count." At that time, there were people who wrote into these threads that his actions DO count but what was the response? "No way," they said, "FO and the related tech build-out means that we're in a new era.....bla, bla, bla....."

If anyone wishes to criticise Greenspan, I submit, they must be able to demonstrate they held the position that his actions mattered a year ago. What was your position a year ago on Greenspan? Everyone else...What was yours? Be honest now cuz JDSU is trading under $20. And, what was the wisdom of the thread then? It was that "dips were to be expected but......we're heading to 600 next and bla...bla....bla...." Now we're trading below $20 and most rode the stock down or capitulated.
