Do they also list the pop/sq.ft ??

I think the pop/sq.ft would be more interesting since you could break up large areas into smaller countries and then their pop would not look so large.

For instance India was basically a number of kingdoms before the british. It was only after the british left that it became one country and the kingdoms were usurped by the state. Even to this date, they are referred to as kings and princes and receive a stipend from the govt. for taking over their kingdoms. Of course they have no real power except those that got involved in politics.
