Reagan's debt affects me and my family members every day, in the form of a huge tax on my income.

W's disregard for the environment will severely affect my children and grandchildren.

I am very grateful for the effect Bill Clinton has had on my family, and the time my eldest son met Clinton was one of the proudest moments of his life.

Sure, until it effects you or one of your family members.

Exactly. Some people just don't care what happens to others as long as it doesn't affect them personally. They forget that other people really do get hurt.

Others forget that this issue was about sexual harrassment on the job.
