<<<I've used Naviscope since it became the topic of the day on this thread a while back>>>>

Do you have any thoughts as to whether this program speed up a cable connection?

Were you getting error messages with Naviscope when you didn't use the shutdown sequence you mentioned? I was not shutting down the browser first and kept getting error messages followed by losing the ad blocking part of the program so I uninstalled.

that is terrific feedback. thank you. i think crow is using naviscope in conjunction with surfsaver, and therein lies my interest with the program.

"When closing, close the browser first, Naviscope next, and the dial-up connection last."

i will remember this. i have another program loaded that requires a special shutdown sequence. nowhere did i find any instructions pertaining to the sequence. it was trial and error that led me to the proper order.

:)
