It is my belief that the Bill of Rights was adapted for the explicit purpose of protecting the rights of the minority from being trampled by the will of the majority.

So, I would say that the majority should take into account the
sensitivities of the minority, but that the minority has a reciprocal duty
to not make a fuss at every turn.

Strange, I know quite a few Sikhs and Hindus and none of them would be offended if you served any meat dish. I'm almost positive they are not strict vegetarians. As a matter of fact they would be offended if you went out of your way not to be yourself. They don't come over here to change your ways, they enjoy them. Having said that put some spinach and dip on the side for any finicky ones.
