Yes, I understand that and will be moving some funds to a brokerage that will allow me to do spreads. Right now I am with Scottrade and, while they have great customer service and often get me better executions than I originally place, they do not allow spreads of any kind. I am limited to buy/sell puts/calls and that's it. Nothing naked (so I can't do short puts) either.

But I have definitely learned the value of limiting exposure with these risky tech stocks!

Hedge Wrapping just appears to be Herm's old idea of a long equity, short CC, and a protective put.
