Given the current environment I sold covered calls on my entire position for April. I think if the FED acts inter-meeting, we might get a little boost, but I doubt they will act. Consumer confidence is bs. More automobile factories layoff or close temporarily daily. This is not a recovering economy. I wonder how bad Europe/Asia/Latam will hurt this quarter. I hate to see upgrades so soon as I'm a contrarian. The darker things appear the sillier people get selling at such ridiculously low prices. To listen to people talk about future pricing makes me giggle. These people live by trading day to day. Some of the measures the "pros" use such as put to call ratio are asinine. One can just as easily short selling covered calls as buying puts. 90% of option buyers lose(I read that, it may or may not be true). imho, it will be a while before we get a protracted move upward. I'll take the money where I can get it in the meantime.knc

Yaacov,

I would imagine if we have a short squeeze at any point, the market will react very quickly in the other direction. Never has the gloom been so prevalent.

Every genius that just figured out you can short has joined the party. I would imagine they think that you can't lose as much shorting as you do being long.

I will wait for this day to come.

Regards,

Rob
