U.S. regulators will begin reviewing broadcast-TV ownership limits and rules barring firms from owning TV stations and newspapers in the same market. Reuters
-- EMAIL or WRITE your congressman about this. It is outrageous that the big media companies be allowed to own even more than they already do. Dangerous to national security as well. When Ike warned about the military/industrial complex, he probably never expected the day would come when the news media would become part of that same establishment. TV Stations/Radio Stations/ Newspapers ought to be owned by DIFFERENT companies folks. No one company should be allowed to own more than a small piece of the total national audience base. The reasons should be obvious. FYI

I like the way the satellite stopped working right when Jim Rogers was about to give out some short-selling ideas. I smell a conspiracy. -g- Seriously, though, Maria B. did a good job with the interview. There was a big delay between when one person spoke and when the other person heard it (probably because he was in Singapore), but she handled it very professionally and the interview came off very well.
