I took that out of the paper. Probably not pc in the liberal Bay Area to say "breaking" as it might hurt the horse's feelings. You do know that in Berkeley you don't own your pets, you are their "gaurdian". Wouldn't want our pets to think they are slaves would we? <g>

CYBER, I see that you live in Las Vegas, but living in the west, does not a horseman make. The old term of "breaking" dies not mean that any horse is mistreated. When "broken" by a professional, no horse feels any pain, is not whipped or otherwise abused, and most important, his spirit is not broken. I have seen greenhorns try to tame a horse by using all sorts of cruelty. When seen by a caballero, the dude is usually set straight, physically if necessary. ~H~
