Today appears to have been a good day especially for those who have been called on margin. Reprieve time.

After reading your post, blessed be the drop in interest rates, is all I can say. The saving rates in banks from a statistical point of view doesn't look adequate enough to aid margin covering.

You should completely ignore what the public has whipped up into "bad times" and continue to operate as usual. Then later you won't be embarrassed. Most people will be embarrassed but no one will mention it because it will be forgotten just like all the other mighty cataclysms which have destroyed Western Civilization over and over according to the latest report from the usual unreliable sources.
