Andy, >>>it seems like whatever the case, the weather has gotten 'strange' of late.

The difference between today and the weather 20 years ago is that anyone with a tv today can see the worlds weather 24x7 and with the internet you can see live cams all over the world and get live raw weather data. In that there have been multiple past Ice ages I'd suspect that there have also been periods far warmer than today. A human life is just a blink in weather time.

When I first heard the CO2 theory it made sense at first analysis. But subsequent studies of the suns output and the fact that no computer model predicts todays climate based on the CO2 theory and all known data I view it now as as likely a flat earth theory.

The weather is always "strange". We only have about 200 years of recorded weather and we know the world has experienced extremes much greater than what is recorded. Comparisons are nearly meaninless.
