Terry the Mid West is practically in recession that is why the IRX hit a new low today.

My speculation is that the whole US is already in a recession but the statistics are not reflecting that at present time they are lagging indicators.

I'm puzzled. Why would REITs be a good investment. I realize interest rates are going down, but so are occupancy rates.
