i hear wd-40 is good for sole, but it's also good for catching trout, walleye and salmon. just put a little on your lure and hang on.

That's an interesting bit of information. I'm going to print it out and put it in my tackle box next to a can of WD-40.

Here is another use:
It's also good for removing unwanted crayon from the walls.
I use it all the time in the NNBM bathroom to erase the dirty poems and pictures that Polvie draws on the stalls...
