Dave,

I don't feel like W gives a sh*t. He has made NO effort to 'offset' some of the decisions he's made on the environment. Also, as the leader of the USA, he needs to set a better example - environmentally speaking. But that won't happen, because he really DOESN'T give a sh*t.

Would a photo-op of him recycling do it for you? He has another 3+ years to develop (and work to implement) his agenda. There were certain items on his agenda that he campaigned on that he is working on right now to implement. If he was right now studying charts of the changes of greenhouse gases over the last decade, the same people who are accusing him of not doing XYZ on environment, if he work on XTZ, he would be accused of breaking his campaign promises. Even though the same people opposed the campaign promises in th first place.

There are some people he just can' win, and he is wise enough to ignore them and not let them distract him.

Joe

Dave,

That's great that you are trying to adopt kids. A good friend of mine just adopted a child from Philipines.

BTW, I don't think any ideology or political rhetoric should stop you from having your own children instead or in addition to the adopted child.

Joe
