I just heard a report on the news yesterday that air pollution in the San Francisco Bay Area has been cut 56% in the last 8 years

Thanks for the post. I am sure there are a lot of stories like that. On my recent visits to Eastern Europe, I noticed that they are making a lot of progress there as well since the fall of communism.

We have become quite good at identifying and resolving acute problems which we can see.

Unfortunately we ignore the insidious and invisible problems.
