Dave: Its rather ironic.. most of the people if not all of the people who were voting on the Mod thread to remove voting for suspensions and let Mani do it arbritarily were all republicans.. or conservatives.. .. at least they are consistent tho.. the Republicans didnt want all the votes counted in Florida to get a fair count.. the conservatives on the Supreme Court appointed BUsh to president... apparently Republicans dont trust democracy, and prefer to do things by decree

My general point is that I'm amazed that people don't make the environment a higher priority. And Bush doesn't help the problem.

I think this is where you are completely wrong. Vast majority of people want to live in a clean world, for some it is just an abstract idea, others talk / do something in that direction. But there are a lot of well meaning people who are just completely put off by the genuine nutcases in the environmental movement. The nutcases in the environmental movement (who I believe you listen to) make this an us and them issue, where it really isn't.
