Disk drives have hugely outperformed other big cap techs though they are impacted by the same weakness in PCs. Kind of hard to get excited about a group in bad times that doesn't make money in good times, esp when they aren't dirt dirt cheap. -Z

I dumped WDC after realizing that it has a negative book
value. It will have a positive book value if some debt
is converted to stock. What are the chances that the
debt will be converted?
