When I saw the results, it just confirmed my worry and I feel even stronger about Mani being fairer than the voting. You know (I hope) well that there was one person on the list of 4 who deserved to be suspended, who wasn't, and of the 2 people on the list who were suspended, definitely 1, maybe even 2 should not have been suspended.

Joe, that's because Mani views are similar to your own...if Scumbria was moderator here, I would feel the same way about him being fairer. However, I would never give up to him my power to vote. I don't think you appreciate democracy enough.

I am not saying that as a rule, that any 1 person is better than a vote, just that Mani is better than a vote that ended up a popularity vote.

Its one of the unpleasant aspects of democracy...you don't always get what you want...sometimes, even when you vote with the majority. The recent US presidential election is a very good case in point.

Besides no one deserves to be suspended for speaking their mind except when they scream fire in a crowded movie theater and there is no fire.
