Hi Monty,
Survival in the financial jungle require skills similar to what is needed for survival everywhere else ... namely, adaptability, keeping in mind the 3 Cs. Conservation, Contingency and Continuity.

The floor of the jungle trembles, the sky darkens, some scatter away from the direction where the thumping approaches, some congregate towards the thumping, and others simply freeze in their steps. I am willing to be left behind, and I am not willing to stay still, and so I run away.

The outcome of the various strategems will be soon apparent. In each generation of evolution, some must always pay the price so that others may benefit from the education.

I do not know what the "right thing" to do is. I am afraid. I move slowly. Gently. Timidly. Convinced of nothing. Afraid of everything.

Others seem to know. Even as they march into the unknown. Progress will be made, at some cost, to whom I do not know.

This about sum up my view of a market full of convictions.

Chugs, Jay

Extremely unlikely now becomes moderately unlikely as the sheeple, portfolio managers, chief executive officers, politicians and Alan Greenspan continue to screw up on a regular basis...... If they continue on like this, then my now moderately unlikely will become almost unlikely..... <sad grin>
