You guys are not far from each other. Maybe Jas can buy you a beer or something someday, and pick your brain.

Hi Wayne, maybe I should have been more specific when I said that you were probably laughing. One well known "rule" for traders is: Don't try to pick top or bottoms. I mean that you were lucky or experienced enough to know it was the top, and you did not suffer severe losses like many of us, including people being known as very successful. I agree that the market sucked at that time of the crash. I also believe that Standing aside is a position. But unfortunately I started trading only around Oct 99 so I was not prepared and did not know how full the hot-air balloon was in March 00.

As to being sick, I am sorry to hear about those pneumonia stories. Luckily, I never get the flu and I am never sick (touching wood). The last time I remember vomiting or having to stay in bed, except for drinking way too much like in high school, was when the dog my parents had when I was born died when I was in elementary school.

I am doing as much as I can to get ready for the next trend up, but unfortunately, and I mention this in pretty much all my posts, I can not get involved more with stocks. My hands are tied, and work 18-20 hours a day plus weekends and I am not even enjoying what I do. May it be ambition, or stupidity, or a combination of both. I sure know where I want to be though. I hope you can enjoy the next "party". Best of luck,
