Sunw short interest decreased slightly. However, it is the overall Naz short interest that will matter anyways.
This site gets the latest information before it hits other places. I believe it was out on March 27. nasdaqtrader.com
Short interest on the NYSE should be out soon but I don't know any good site that gets the information out soon. I just end up checking "Yahoo Company Profile" for that.

I would note that short interest in general is very high on both the Naz and nyse than we have been used to. A lot of the hedge funds that are short may cover and go long at some point (although the Bear Funds won't or can't due to their objective).
Look at this chart on the street.com to see how short interest has been tracking. It does set up for an explosive move sometime.

Another thing I would look at is margin debt that has been decreasing. The numbers now possibly include shorts that are using margin too.

That is what makes me bullish for April and possibly May before things become quiet on the market (drop in the volatility) beyond that possibly. Expecting an explosive move in the meantime.
