Rande - I'm sorry I misread your note. I was in a hurry, as usual. RE: Set-top boxes -- I've been waiting for them for some time. There's a small company (I own stock in)called Patriot Scientific that makes a chip that is an excellent JAVA processor, and it would be ideal for STBs. So far, they haven't been able to get any deals done, but they are getting more attention lately. They will exhibit at the Embedded Systems Conference in San Francisco in April, and SUNW and WIND will be in assistance. (VxWorks from WIND is ported to the chip.) Speaking of set-top boxes, its time for me to pump an old thread favorite and a leader in the space, SFA. Was fortunate to pick up a position yesterday in the 36 area. Nice piece on SFA here: Message 15615408 Trading at a P/E close to its long term growth rate with quarterly earnings in 2 weeks expected to be up 83% from last year: biz.yahoo.com And a nice chart showing a break of the short term downtrend on good volume with little in the way of resistance until the mid-40's: siliconinvestor.com Regards, Prophet Often
