Re : big or no problem with telecom balance sheets / cash flow (to service debt) --

I have not looked closely at this stuff.

Have you ?

(I am not trying to be rude. I just know from experience that sometimes, zillions of people will all be discussing (and "dissecting" to death) something without any of them having actually read or looked into the thing that they are talking about).

(My favorite example of this was : "gold bugs" (and also some people talking hysterically regarding selling short bank stocks) continuously referencing the "Monetary Control Act of [I think] 1980."

I once read that if anyone had ACTUALLY read the Monetary Control Act of 1980 (which may have been something like 400 pages of astoundingly boring and un-readable legalese) ... they would realize that it had almost nothing to do with any decision on whether or not to buy or sell gold or bank stocks.

But, since it was reasonable to assume that the people making up the readership audience of gold investment newsletters were unlikely to get copies of the Monetary Control Act of 1980, and sit down and read it carefully -- this endless referencing of "Oh boy, just consider the profound implications of the Monetary Control Act of 1980" ... went "around and around" for quite a while).

I just had a thought -- the reason 3G wireless may never happen is because of ...

The Monetary Control Act of 1980 !
