This is Gilder's track record since 1/1/01, down 32.7% as of Friday's close: siliconinvestor.com Back when I had a subscription to his newsletter, I did a portfolio effective 1/1/00, which, nota bene, was before the last big push upward into March, 2000. Down 76.5% as of Friday's close. siliconinvestor.com Someone else made up one for Gilder's "Nine Stars of the Telecosm" effective 1/1/01 siliconinvestor.com I got into with him telling him Gilder didn't have a good track record as a stock picker but they all started hooting at me so I left them alone. Down 44.9% in 3 months.
