I wonder how much these Leaders have done in the past few years that is not at the moment. They are in the hands of Fund Managers who demand the quarterly numbers. Their planning has primarily been how to make the few cents per share that give a positive look on the numbers. Buffet can afford to think beyond a quarter or two. He can look into the future and wait for it to unfold. When one is dancing the fund managers' tune long term planning is not so easy; and suddenly the future impacts the numbers.
