Average Joe.... >>I like your way of looking at it but time in the physical sense wears down friends and enemies alike. Your disarming example is a good one. The bible says "love your enemies" it's true, nothing will disarm an enemy faster than a kindness.>> Don't look to me or anyone for YOUR truth. That can only come from God himself. Let Him and Him alone be your personal teacher. Dare believing this can be possible and you will become the conduit for His light, energy, love and purpose. We can do nothing. Zip, nada, zilch, PEROID.... Sure we can take energy and spin, dance and fool ourselves and others, but like your analogy on time, this, too, wears down friends and enemies alike. Every example that you attempt to find outside of yourself in lieu of internal meaming will also wear thin, like time. And like an old car or an old movie it just isn't the same when you saw or drove it new for the first time. But the Lord's light, energy and Love never gets old and is always simple, fun and forever stimulating, exciting and fresh. For God's Love is the unconditional expression of His Risk. And, unlike this world, He asks for nothing in return. All we can be and do is to simply be celebratory conduits for His light, energy and Love. We cannot claim or take credit for anything. But the darndest thing happens. We become ONE and the light becomes ONE and yet man places Jesus and all these saints on pedestals, but only after they've been killed. And if the show is really good evil - ie. this taking energy paradigm - ends up fooling us into the lie of ONENESS with truth, light, reason, etc. So man ends up worshipping glorifying images and idols which are separate from God. I believe more and more individuals are, too, tiring of the same spin, smoke, fire, fear Who's Better/Right show. It's really getting old and has greatly worn out its welcome. More and more individuals are realizing that THEY - not their masters, friends, EGOs, - are fully responsible for their own happiness. And the only source that fullfills this void is a personal - not a "religious" - relationship with God. But here's the key. Don't ask for what God can do for you. Ask what you and God can do to help others. Your truth - all our our truths - are found along the road of service, ministry and charity to others - ie. doing His work by letting Him use you totally, completely. Cemturies ago before this dark period set in giving, helping, serving and charity use to be the hallmarks of civilization which rested on spiritual principals which were grounded in reason and backed by real understanding. There was no separation between Heaven and earth, man and God, God and nature. We are now in the 21st Centurty. Now its time for all of us to Come TWO/TO ONE. There just isn't any grey area to hide out in anymore. Either you embrace your ONENESS with God or you continue to separate, blame and shame. Great New Light, Energy and Love is entering the world right now. Yet there's also great darkness as the Old model of defining and taking God's energy for selfish purposes fights, kicks and screams in denial. Jump into this Great River of Light Average Joe!! God has your boat waiting at the dock ready to go. Let him do everything. Forget about me or anyone else. Let your will decide on your own. Remain FREE!! Peace. Light! ONE!! GO!!! .
