The best way for companies in trouble now is to file chapter 11, get rid of the loan then start from clean slate but all these investors will loose their shirt. In California, I can't believe how these utilities gouged the consumer and governor wants to bail them out. If he has balls then he should simply use eminent domain and buy out these utilities and place them under non profit. it is sad to see so much suffering. And I do believe this recession has legs. IMHO.
