I can go through the pitfalls too, On the Q thread I argue the Bear way and here I argue the Bull cause. I think Q has alot of real concern's and its stock price is by far not cheap. I think 3G will come slower then expected, I think the fact that Qcom patent's start running out in 2006 is never mentioned. I think that NOK will eventially be a bigger chip competition to Qcom. I think ASP's will fall and even if Q grows 40% and ASP's fall then Q could have trouble sustaining their growth. OMNI tracs will be way down this year, GSTRF earnings will be gone as well. CB the problem I have is the REAL issues with Q are never the ones brought up they are 1)ASP(Average selling prices) 2)IPR protection(expiring,CHINA misbehaving,European circumventing) 3)OFMD and 4G leapfroging 3G in Europe where 3G is not happening anytime soon 4)IRWIN Jacobs leaving or Dying 5)Consumer demand for 3G(My belief is 3G gets built and there are no APPS to encourage use)
