But it just occurred to me that this is not such a bad thing. You see Amazon is selling items at a loss, so having smaller sales would actually reduce losses.



Actually, most items have some gross margins but the cost of fulfillment and maintaining the DCs just does them it.

The higher margins as you mentioned are necessary.
