So did the Internet. Everyone I know is disconecting. Companies, too.

Gone. Like waterbeds, bell-bottoms, the eight-track, CB radios...a fad, hyped by hypsters bent in going public and leaving town.

Mankind will collect and store more bits of data in the next three years that it has in the previous 333,000 years, the entirety of human records. Double. I wonder what we'll do with that. I guess not turn it into gold. I data has lost its appeal, too?
