<<So, the leader in the fight against ignorance is...

George W Bush?>>

Absolutely! He is a perfect example of why we should ALWAYS choose our leaders from the practical and productive fields, rather than career public parasites like the Clintons. There's no substitute for the been-there-done-that when it comes to making policy decisions. The scientific community concluded that we could never continue to compete in the world economy until the general public was forced to use the metric system. Today the US dominates the world economy. We also had no way out of the '70's "energy crises". We were just plain foolish to continue to burn fossil fuels. In the intervening years the world became awash in newly-discovered oil simply by allowing the market once again to determine the price. That will be the ultimate solution to the liberal-created California power crises eventually, too.

Go back earlier: We could never stave off the end of the world without yielding to Soviet communism. We had to stop acid rain...etc., etc. It has gone on and on, and will continue to do so, the global warming fraud being simply the latest.

When a leader steps forward to put a stop to such incredible nonsense, he doesn't need to be a genius. He simply needs to have that vision that the rest of us have lost. He will also be ridiculed by those same mediocrities who invented the problems and cash in on them directly or through increased political capital. What scares the hell out of the enviro-whacko movement is not his vision, but his common sense. Common sense is the true enemy of the "green" movement....
