The FCX pfd are complicated, one really needs to read the 10K filing for all of the terms and conditions. I do know, however, the B and C gold convertibles pay a cash dividend based on the price of gold, and the D silver convertible pays a cash dividend based on the price of silver. No dividends are actually paid in metal.
