Skeeter: excellent post. I don't know which I like better.. "fantasy data" or "one euphoric moment".

here's the link. minor oversight, huh? ;-)

SB,

I feel a little less stupid once I can read what we were talking about LOL.

again, notice the voodoo, mumbo jumbo nonsense expressed by gilder.

Geezz..I am afraid to say thig but I agree with Gilder on a few issues. Mostly the improvement in productivity due to the new technologies. My basis is what I see done internally within my business which does make money.

The recent market actions to the stock picks may have a lot to do with valuations being too high at one point and too low at another.

Anyhow, I believe there are productivity improvements but I do not believe a way to measure them has really been created as of yet. There is another problem which may offset a lot of the possible productivity improvements. One is the use of the new technology at ones job for entertainment purposes. Everything from shopping when one is suppose to be working to view/reading pornography when one should be working.
