Ok i'll call George Bush first thing Monday and tell him to cut off trade with Japan that'll help cut our trade deficit big time.

This is about stock prices -- nothing more,
nothing less. <<

Oh i thought this was about the Economy not just stock prices. Gst i have noticed the US has been contracting and technology spending has fallen off a cliff, caused by the highest real interest rates in more than a decade, a yield curve that looked like death, low commodity prices, and on top of that a soaring dollar. Stock prices always cannot be relied through that wall tight money. Real interest rates are still a bit to high, theirs really no inflation, so that's why our economy has suffered such a sharp slowdown and a blow to stock prices. It'll take time to work off the excesses from the last expansion.
