"Wireless technologies -3, 4, 5, NG- will do away with the wires for local loop...." elmatador- Except you forgot the secret weapon of the wired world--Television. Something 3, 4, 5, nG wireless can't do. And even satellite can't do (VOD). 1 billion TV households worldwide. 300 million cable TV households.
