People in the suburbs do want less arsenic in their drinking water

So why didn't Bill Clinton do something about it ? Why did he wait for the last moment ? Was it because he knew the cost of implementing this was extremely high and that there was no problem ? Was it because he would want to inflict all kinds of hardships on a new administration like the energy problems he left this country ? Maybe he wants 1$ a gallon for water. HE was in office for 8 years and did nothing except take credit for the work that Silicon Valley did and raise money. That's all. Opps I forgot he disgraced the White House and put gays in the military

I have a hard time believing that these suburbanites are willing to buy the Left/Media line whole when the reasonable side is presented. It's possible that Republicans will have to speak more to the issue at election time instead of falling into media-dictated formulas. But that's the real job of political leadership and the Republicans are just starting to figure that out again. Just as the Clinton tax recession is now emerging to alter the stale economic debate, the prospect of these suburbanites suffering from brown outs, blackouts and tripling of power bills before the 2002 election offers a chance for the more worthy politicians in their areas to copy George Bush in making the common sense case against environmental fraud.

We shall see if the Republicans have what it takes...

Kenneth...do you have a link for that? And it is odd that if Gore carried this district on the environment alone...that Nadar wouldn't have carried it instead. Also, to say that Bush has "right wing extremist views on environmental protection" is laughable....What do you think those so called "rwe" views are?

Dear Kenneth, have you heard that because of a lack of rains up in the pacific north west that the snow pack is only 60% of normal. Am I wrong but does the snow pack melt and the water created run down rivers and generate electricity. Hmmmm. so this summer when all those fruits and nuts in the california state turn on the air conditioners and the light go out, I think that the folks up north will see the consequences of the technically retarded green bean coalition. I'd suggest you study boortz I believe the red will swallow a lot of the blue flu.

But as we all know vacant liberal minds are free to fantasize about whatever the wish. That's because America is great.
