CSCO doesn't report in April so there won't be a warning because they still have a month to go in the quarter.

Expect a big announcement sometime in April. Probably something like a big write off of obsolete inventory and stock buy back program. Something like that.

The big guys usually get stronger, not weaker, during a recession. INTC, CSCO, etc will do fine. It is the smaller guys in telcom equipment, like Northpoint, that go under. Everybody is sitting around dreaming that CSCO has no strength and will collapse.

Why in the world would you go long after a csco warning? Why would csco act any different than nt after its (second) warning. Shorts covering will not help (I suspect a lot of shorts already locked in last week). When the shorts are covered, there will be no one left to buy csco.
