As someone pointed out earlier, I would think they might face formidable regulatory hurdles in attempting to make that acquisition.

A company that promises it won't disappoint is setup for the biggest of falls. No one knows if economic conditions will worsen, and buying a company's stock because management promises not to disappoint sounds more like risky venture than a safe one. FWIW
