Well, we can debate about the 'agenda'. I think it is more disorganized than that. They think they are giving the people what they want, when really they are guessing at what will sell, what will raise their ratings.

I disagree with the "trash good and decent and defend sick and depraved".

There ARE good, decent stories out there. I just caught one segment on Bryan Gumbel's sports show on HBO about Cooper Union University (did I get the name right?). Small highly respected acedemic school with only $32K budget for the WHOLE SPORTS dept. Players play because they want to, but spend most of their time studying. Collective GPA of the PLAYERS is 3.5; 100% graduate. The team doesn't have a home court; they play all away games and practice at a junior high school. They play other small schools, and had a 15-2 record last year. And the only practice ONCE A WEEK, because school is more important. They had a great attitude, a great experience, and learned all the positives of playing team sports.

Good stories are out there, you just have to look a little harder for them...

it was obliterated from all news media because ....
If nobody wrote about it, then how did you come to hear of it? Were you involved?, or are you just lying about the accusation that nobody wrote about it just because it wasn't on the front page of the New York Times and the lead story of Nightline?
