DRAT!! I could have used a nice bridge.

Cookies, are yours chocolate chip?

Cookies are what sites drop in your computer when you visit. Some look around and report back to the site what sites you visit.

Some are worth having like the SI cookie so you log in automatically or the NY Times cookie that shows you have registered to read the online articles.

You can set your computer so it won't accept cookies or if you want to delete PervertedSex.com, open tools, go to internet options, open setting and open view files. Delete away.

Rambi, Why they call them "cookies" I will never know but, every time you click on a website, or send and email, this is recorded in cookies which also have some preferences you have shown on websites. They take up little room, and are really harmless, unless you have some deep dark personality quirks you want to keep hidden. ;^) It can be a mess if you completely clean out your cookie cache. For instance, I book flights with Continental online, and when I click on their website, they already know that I am a senior passenger, prefer a low sodium meal, prefer a window seat, and they already have my frequent flyer number, billing address, and home airport. If you were to delete this cookie, you would have provide all this information again. Multiply that by all of the websites you visit, such as Amazon, you can see how much time will be wasted in providing certain information again.
